October 2, 2026 (Los Angeles) — Today, GRAMMY Award-winning, multi-Platinum rock duo The Black Keys announce a pair of limited edition upcoming vinyl releases celebrating the 20th anniversary of two of their seminal, universally acclaimed albums. The highly collectible reissues drop December 4 via Easy Eye Sound / Warner Records and include: 2006’s Magic Potion on “Magic Potion Blue” color vinyl and 2010’s mainstream-crashing Brothers available for the first time on “Cola Bottle Clear” 2LP. Pre-order HERE.
While Magic Potion was The Black Keys’ major label debut, first released on Nonesuch Records, the 11-song set was self-produced by Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney and recorded entirely in Patrick’s Akron, OH, basement. The pair’s fourth album was their first to crack the top 100 of the Billboard 200 albums chart (#95), and included the singles “Your Touch,” “You're the One,” and “Just Got to Be.”
Released just five years later, their sixth album Brothers would peak at #3 on the Billboard 200, achieve RIAA-certified 2X Platinum status, and win The Black Keys their first three GRAMMYS: “Best Alternative Music Album,” “Best Recording Package,” and, for their debut Hot 100 single “Tighten Up,” “Best Rock Performance.” The 15-track project also launched singles “Howlin’ for You” and “Everlasting Light.”
The news arrives as The Black Keys’ acclaimed, six-month Peaches ’n Kream World Tour is set to swing back through North America, hitting upstate New York and Portland, ME, October 10-11 ahead of a Canadian arena run, then wrapping with a pair of recently added nights at Chicago’s Salt Shed October 20-21. The tour spotlights the duo’s new album Peaches! and their beloved 2021 set Delta Kream, both of which viscerally reinvent songs from the blues’ past. Find their full itinerary below and tickets HERE.
For much of the tour, The Black Keys have been playing more intimate “venues made for dancing” in cities they hadn’t seen on recent runs, with all supporting acts coming from Dan’s own Easy Eye Sound label roster. They’ve racked up rave reviews and headlines so far — including in Rolling Stone when Sturgill Simpson and Marcus King joined them onstage in Nashville. Along the way, Dan and Patrick have been throwing their impromptu Record Hang DJ nights, where they exclusively spin vintage 45s.
Released in May, Peaches! is the band’s fourteenth studio album and a raw 10-song collection described by Dan as “the most natural Black Keys record since the first one,” 2002’s The Big Come Up. The project was born in the wake of Dan’s late father’s diagnosis of esophageal cancer, as he was staying in Dan’s Nashville home, in rapid decline. Patrick — his oldest, closest friend — knew without asking that “it would be good for Dan to have something to do.” That something, of course, was to crank up the amps.
Peaches! has since spawned the singles “She Does It Right,” “Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire,” and “You Got To Lose,” while garnering near-universal praise. Rolling Stonenoted, “The Black Keys dig deep into their record collection and find plenty of gold,” while Clash, scoring it 8/10, wrote, “With their fourteenth record the band have gone full circle, proving why they became household names in the first place.” A slew of other publications shared praise as well, including Classic Rock (“gloriously unrefined,” 8/10), UNCUT (“delectably scuzzy,” 8/10”), and MOJO (“fittingly filthy,” 4 stars), among many others.
