British soul powerhouse The James Hunter Six have announced the Off The Fence Tour, bringing their unmistakable blend of rhythm & blues, soul and timeless songwriting to stages across the United States this fall. Among the troupe's scheduled concerts are shows at Pappy & Harriet's in Pioneertown on Nov 29, at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano on Dec. 2, and at the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, AZ on Dec. 5.

The tour kicks off November 9 in Pittsburgh, PA and travels through the Northeast before heading west for a run of California and Arizona dates, including stops in Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, West Hollywood, Oakland, Menlo Park, Santa Cruz, and more.

The tour follows the release of Off the Fence, James Hunter’s first album for Easy Eye Sound, the label founded by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. The record marks a new chapter for the GRAMMY®-nominated British singer and songwriter while bringing together the unmistakable voice, sharp songwriting, and deeply rooted soul sound that have defined his career for more than three decades.

Featuring a rare duet with longtime collaborator Van Morrison on “Ain’t That A Trip,” Off the Fence connects Hunter’s past, present, and future while showcasing the effortless mix of up-tempo R&B and intimate soul balladry that has earned him acclaim around the world.

Hailed by MOJO as “The United Kingdom’s Greatest Soul Singer,” Hunter has spent decades touring internationally with his six-piece band, performing everywhere from intimate clubs to major festivals.
